Who Am I?

I am me. Me is Kris. Currently I reside out in sunny Cali-forn-i-a in what people like to call the Valley, I guess. Born and raised in San Diego, lived in Kansas since I was 10, went to college at K-State (EMAW), now I’m back in Cali doin’ my thang.

Outside of real life, music is my life. My musical past? Quick timeline. I used to sit in my room as a kid and listen to music for hours. When I moved to Kansas in the 5th grade I was known to be the kid who bobbed his head in class all day long (probably just recreating the awesome musical breakdown by The Verve Pipe, in the song Freshman, in my head). I’ve been a part of a radio DJ crew. I was in a little hippity hop group for a bit.  Let’s just say I’ve always been a music guy. Prob a genetic thing, my dad made me sit through album after album every weekend of almost my entire life. I can prob recite almost any chorus of almost any song you can think of (with the music of course). I used to only listen to rap, then only oldies, then only rock, the only rap again, then only country, then only everything, and that’s where I am today. Well versed in many genres, but not a music snob by any means. If its good, its good, and I prob like it.

I haven’t made music for a hot minute, so I feel I need to contribute to the world of music, and so comes this blog. If you know me, you know I may not be the most talkative guy in the world, but if there is one thing you should know its that music is MY UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE.

Question? Concern? Props? Go hit me up on my new site http://myuniversallanguage.com/

ENJOY!
