Try To Fill…

Not in a great mood this morning for obvious reasons to people who know me, ughh. Yes it’s just a game, but still, not happy. So to fit my somber mood I introduce you to Trent Reznor’s latest project, How To Destroy Angels. And if you aren’t aware who Trent Reznor is, well uhhh NIN. Now if you don’t know what that is, sorry, that’s all I’ma give ya. Man I’m in a bad mood huh? No he doesn’t sing (maybe a tad of backup), but if you are familiar with his other work you will definately recognize his influences here. The singer in this band happens to be Reznor’s wife, Mariqueen Maandig. Her tone fits very well here. Not to overpowering and just enough ooomph to flow perfectly with the music. I may not be the hugest NIN fan, but I really think Reznor is a musical genius/innovator. So although this may not be your favorite sound (or mine), or maybe it is, atleast give it a listen and enjoy what he is trying to do here. The song, “The Spaces In Between”. So if you find yourself in a similar mood as I, well this may be just the ticket. Just makes sure you punch your pillow excessively before rejoining society. That’s what I shall do…now. Check it.
